Winter Jam
Will be Friday, March 6. We will leave the Harriman High School track parking lot at 3:30 pm sharp! This event is at Thompson Bolin arena and seating is limited so we have to get there right away. We will serve hamburgers on the bus and drinks. We will also stop for dinner at Steak and Shake on the way home. We’ll be back some time after midnight. Cost is $10 at the door. You will need money for dinner as well and anything you may want to buy at the concert. Sign up is February 11. Teen Toiletry Bags
We have been made aware of a need in our community. Many students in Roane County Schools cannot afford basic toiletry items. So most of these student do without. For some, their teachers buy them the items paying for them out of their own pocket. Pathfinders Student Ministries has decided to help meet this need. For the next month we will be collecting the toiletry items listed below. You can place them in the boxes located outside the sanctuary, outside the church office, outside the fellowship hall and in the youth center. Please, as you go to the store pick up any or all of these items. Our youth will assemble them into bags and deliver them to the schools so that they can be given to needy students. Each bag will also contain a copy of God’s Word with the plan of salvation marked. Thank you for your help as we seek to reach out and minister in the name of Jesus.

January Events
Sign up now for our Centifuge/M-fuge camp. The dates are June 15-20. We are going back to North Greenville College in Greenville, South Carolina. The total cost of this event is $150 to be paid in three installments. The first payment of $50 is due no later than January 28. This is a non refundable deposit. Don’t wait too long because spots will go quickly! This year we are going with Big Emory Baptist Church. Both churches will be participating together in this camp. Get your deposit in now! You don’t want to miss out on this life changing event!
Youth Committee/Council Meeting
This Wednesday night (January 14, 2009) at 7:30 pm (immediately following Pathfinders). In the youth cetner. We have sevearl things to discuss, including Winter Jam and YEC. Please make every effor to attend this meeting.
